The range of shirting gets defined by the collective efforts of our product development team and the customers’ designers. There are large numbers of fabrics which are in the standard range; new fabrics are developed each season with variants like cotton type, yarn count, fabric constructions, weave and patterns.

Counts & Cotton type

Cotton selection is made based on several aspects like the product end use, required hand-feel and appearance, targeted price points, required product performance parameters & the need for labels as a marketing strategy. Within each count all the options are made available and the main qualities of cotton fibers offered are American Pima, Egyptian Giza, Australian, SJV, Indian MCU5, and Indian DCH. We also offer tencel, modal or any new fiber as required by the customers.

Yarn counts

Counts are decided with respect to the end use, the season and the hand-feel/optics required in a given fabric/garment. Within each count depending on the design needs and the count itself, we offer options of spinning technology like Ring Spun or open End. The ring spun yarns could be of carded, combed and super-combed variants depending upon the aesthetics important for the pattern/fabrics. Additionally we propose the latest available variants like compact yarns or ELI twist yarns, slub patterns or Lurex yarns to enhance the product range.

The counts of these yarns range from the coarse counts of 16’s 20's,30's to the fine and superfine counts of 40's, 50's, 60's,70's & 80's in singles and from 2/60's, 2/70's to 2/80's, 2/100's & 2/120's.

Elastane yarns are used for stretch fabrics. Fiber dyed mélange yarn products are made available in shirting counts like 30’s & 40’s. Fancy yarns are also used for ornamentations like Lurex and Grindlle.

Weave & constructions

Weave and Constructions are the function of the end use, the season, any special finishes to be applied to fabric, the optics a designer needs to impart, the garment treatments like washes etc. A detailed working takes place before arriving at the right weave with its ends and picks per inch. The weaves can be varied from the basic Plains/poplin, twills, classical oxfords or pin-point oxfords to the fancy structures like the royal oxfords, satins, combination weaves and dobby weaves.

In terms of ends and picks per inch we offer options from very open structures to the most compacted constructions to emphasize/hide design details as required by the designers.

We specialize on the highly constructed fabrics with high ends and picks per inch/cm.

Patterns/Design

Pattern being the key element is imparted with the help of colors and weave. This is one of the most important aspects to attract customer attention at the point of sales. With the help of CAD and the design team we offer based on the end uses a range of stripes like the simple hairlines or Bengal or the complex variegated or engineered ones, creating mono-color, two tones or the multicolor effects as desired.

Checks gets inspired from past or are designed with futuristic patterns. Be it the Scottish tartans or ginghams; we offer from 2 to as many as 8 colors in weft to have no limitations in the designs.

We specialize on beam dyed or warp dyed products like Filafils, Chambrays, Bengal stripes and Ginghams. The product consistence, owing to the state of art beam dyeing technology, is comparable to the best available in the world In Filafils the mill pioneered to offer most comprehensive range of color placements from the pastels to the most difficult cross dyed options.

Chambrays in pinpoints oxford, classical oxford or even in hopsacks that form the core of many shirting brands are available with best quality standards, quick deliveries and above all at highly competitive prices.

Hand loom Samples & CADs

A huge library of over 10,000 shades in various counts is maintained in-house. A machine capable to dye more than a dozen shades at a time and the desk top handlooms with dobby constitute the sampling section.

Above facility powered with the textile designers make it possible to deliver first time right samples in 4/5 days or as per the targeted dates. CADs are available as per designer briefs in 48 hours.
